I am a state certified English teacher with a BA in English and a post graduate teaching license. In other words, I am an actual teacher. My goal since I began teaching twenty years ago has been to help people of all ages, levels and backgrounds to build confidence in writing and speaking English and help teens and adults get the certificate they need for both academic and professional purposes by focusing on what is necessary and by bypassing irrelevant and time consuming practices. This translates that you will learn how to use English from day one. Moreover, my teaching appraoch revolves around the specific student and it's adjusted to his/her needs and personality. The end result is quality learning and time efficiency which also help save time and money.
There are two basic kinds of English learners: a) the ones who need a certificate, and b) the ones who just want to speak and write better.
Contrary to popular belief, both cases require setting goals. These goals are defined by using exam preparation books regardless of whether one will take a test or not. The level of the student is assessed based on oral ease and listening comprehension skills. These are almost always detected within the first fifteen minutes of our introductory conversation with the student.
