I graduated from the department of French Language and Literature of the Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2011. I'm entitled with a Master’s degree in Didactics of French as a foreign or second language (Hellenic Open University). I continued my studies in Hellenic Open University with my second Master's degree in Special Education for People with Oral and Written Language Difficulties (Joint Degree with the University of Thessaly).
I'm always trying to find inspiration in providing a more student-focused learning experience and to use unconventional techniques and methods in my courses. Also, I strive to bring to my students innovative ways of learning.
More than ten years of experience in private education, instructing French language and culture in middle and high school levels. Preparation for all certifications (Delf/Dalf/Sorbonne/ ΚΠΓ/ Ειδικό Μάθημα γαλλικών για πανελλήνιες). I give private lessons to children, adults and children with special needs (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dysgraphia, AD/HD).
One of the reasons I wanted to become a profesor is to contribute to the community in a meaningful way. Teaching is one of the most direct ways to make an impact. I always desired to help people around me and I think that being a teacher is an invaluable contribution. Furthermore, I wanted to boost multilingualism and interculturality via the french culture and language.
I'm trying to build the syllabus and the goals with my students because everyone has special needs and different objectives. Also, my master in didactics helped me to recognize the special needs and the capacities to provide a differentiated instruction based in the proper needs of every student and according to their learning styles and skills. Setting clear goals for the tutoring and the description of the tutoring plan always help the students knowing what to attend from themselves and how to achieve their goals.
